Eportfolio in education

What is an e-portfolio? As we know the word  is used for electronic things as in e-mail so, and e-portfolio is an electronic portfolio. It is a method of exchanging digital collection of a user´s life in internet. An academic portfolio is more than a record of students had achieved or their goal, according to Skawinski and Thibodeau (2002) is “a purposeful collection that tells the story of the student´s efforts, progress, or achievements in a given area”. In education is an interesting and useful tool to be organized and keep everything in just one place. The user can Include documents, videos, audio, images, hyperlinks and more. E-portfolios can facilitate students' reflection on their own learning, leading to more awareness of learning strategies and needs. It can be use anytime-anywhere with no restrictions, no limits. Aloud student’s thoughts and ideas, individual needs, teacher´s feedback, evaluation and assessment, personal development and multiple tasks. In few words is everything that a student needs!
